First there was OLED, then came the AMOLED. Samsung developed new technologies based on AMOLED namely Super AMOLED, Super AMOLED plus and Super AMOLED HD Plus (the one used in galaxy note)
whats next? could it be:
Super Hyper Ultra Mega Extreme AMOLED Quad HD plus? If this happens, expect a display with over 9000000000000000000:1 contrast ratio, with 4k / 2160p native resolution , thickness of about 0.000000000001 um and portable sizes of up to 25 inches (lol portable)
