  • @brighteyefilms I just did what this video said and it worked! My car starts fine! but now im idling REALLY low and its misfiring all over the place and now everything else seems wrong.... what do i do!? please respond ASAP!

  • @TheDozens4 Sounds like your plug wires are on the wrong parts of the cap.

  • if after you do all this and you turn your engine over and it idles but it intermitenly pops out of the exaust what else needs t =o be checked or rechecked.

  • @PAMAROSHOUSE Timing, carb

  • I'm having a problem setting the timing. I think it may be because my bug doesn't really have an accessory on key placement. As soon as you turn the key a little bit it starts to click. I'm pretty sure it's the electronic fuel pump, could be wrong though. Anyway I can't get the circuit to complete and make the light come on. I just had to kind of guess by watching the belt run and adjust that way.

  • @joeylk4d4 The issues you have really are not related to one another, fuel pump to timing?? Doesn't sound right. What motor do you have in there? Distributor?

  • Does this work if you have electronic ignition. i literally just figured out i had this. PLEASE HELP

  • @brighteyefilms thank you chris i also found one side of my intake was loose possibly sucking in extra air .i will do the timing and carb also

  • Great video buddy! Cheers.

  • im trying this tomorrow on my conv 67ghia.ive been setting it a tdc w, a 009 dizzy.i will try 7.5 hope it works.

  • @brighteyefilms i have a 1915cc, 009 distributor. I was kind of guessing what the clicking noise was. Its how some military vehicles click over to get the electrical system ready. Sorry that's the only thing i know how to compare it to. Anyway, my bug never shows the 2 lights for "accessory on" only 1 light, then the engine will turn over past that.
