George Shultz on Foreign Affairs

Here's George Shultz, the former Secretary of State for Ronald Reagan. Any advice to the Obama Administration on foreign affairs? Talking to Iran should be on our agenda not theirs. Talks should not just be on Iran's nuclear program. The way they govern the Iranian people is awful. Spending money on their war machine rather than helping their citizens. When the Reagan Administration talked, they were talking of the Soviet Union, referring to them as the Evil Empire. Have to be blunt, not beating around the bush. Saying what you think is very important. With the Israel and Palestinian talks like Settlements, can't go there. They have to build from the bottom up. The rise of China, Obama needs to get his house in order before trying to do that with the Chinese. What's their agenda? Mr. Shultz is the author of "Ideas and Actions."
