Freedive breathhold spearfishing for Striped Bass in the waters off Montauk NY. This video was taken during July and August 2010. Spearfishing is a highly dangerous, challenging, and noble sport. Some say that spear fishing is unfair to the fish, I say: untrue. So much effort to bag the same amount, (2) most places, as a guy with a pole. That many fish? A guy with a baited hook would have caught and handled two by the time spero got down. I think spero is better cause it is most selective in harvest. I really enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing it. Bravo!!!
