Logan Schlutz Eagle Scout

This is a video we made for Logan's Eagle Scout Court of Honor. Logan had just turned 15 when he made his Eagle Scout Rank. Very young for Boy Scouts highest Rank. Most boys are almost ready to turn 18 when they become an Eagle SCout. Only a little over 1% make the rank of Eagle Scout. The video also has his Gandfather in it , who was also and Eagle Scout. Both are also Brotherhood in the Order of the Arrow.

The camp is named after him and his cabin where he lived sits on the camp grounds by the lake! When a scout shows kindness and goes beyond his duty as a scout, he is called to sleep the night in this cabin, and to learn many things about cheif lemhi! You also make a medicine pouch with things around the lake that represent you! That was my own little eagle ceremony! Indian cabin, torches lit outside, canoes, the lake! I'd prefer it over and eagle court of honor in a church building any day!!!!!

Most troops are in the faith of mormons, like mine! We believe in are very religion, that we are to shun away from secret combinations! I feel that the order of the arrow is a popularity conetets. If it can not be a part of every scout then it should not be part of the scout program! At camp little lemhi in Idaho they do whats called Keeper of the Cabin,it is where Chief Lemhi, a very well known chief in the history of native Americans, as a kind and giving cheif! cont....

my dive on my swimming merit badge! Of course his son did it perfect the very first time, but he kept telling me to do it over! I got up time and time again to do my dive, and then was told I was'nt good enough! I think there are many things that the BSA needs to look into, because there are many reasons that a person should be able to get there eagle as an adult! I don't like the way that order of the arrow is carried out! cont.....

Good job Logan! Hey just wondering, because most boys that I find that get there Eagle as early as they can, often are pushed very hard by there parents! Often many times there parents are the ones scheduleing all of the meetings for advancement! I am not saying that you did'nt earn yours, just wondering what you did, and what your parents did? I only got to life, and I was one merit badge away from an eagle. I had a scout master reject cont......
