Full-Motion cutscene from Westwood Studio's Dune 2000.

The noble House Atreides hails from the water-planet of Caladan. On Caladan the Duke rules by sea and air. But he knows that on Arrakis, he must rely on Desert Power to win the day. The Duke's famous mentat, Noree Moneo advises and resides over the Duke's forces on Arrakis, but it is the choices of the Commander that will truly make House Atreides unstoppable.

  • i heard from my father that they actually made a movie of dune 2000 or there was one but im not sure it was old age because i have never been able to find it

  • Actually it's the other way around, the game was based off a movie. The movie is from the 1980's and is called Dune. And that movie is actually based on a book series written by a guy named Frank Herbert.

  • Long Live Duke Leto Atreides The Just!!!!!!!

  • I would always play as Atreides as a kid because their planet looked most like Earth :)

  • @metallica4ev I feel so old after your comment.

  • @smithdanger The movie is a little bit different from a book but yes it IS based on a book. Dune 2/2000 rules.

  • Leto? I thought this was an alternate reality? What about Achillus? Is Emperor another alternate reality?

  • @vigo894 Ockay, self-correction: "Always bet on the Duke"s"!"

  • @Tarik360= And his son too.

  • lol, when i look at the representation Calladan, i feel like a fremen that bathed himself in the waters of the oceans.... at first is suprise, intense emotion... and after that... getting used to, disappointment....

  • Always bet on the duke!
