It's interesting to see all these pictures of Babs throughout her long career. The funny thing is that I completely separate early Streisand (pre-BeeGees) from the newer model (post-Yentl). My strong preference is for her songs and her "purer" and more dramatic voice from the 1960's.

Nice video with a selection from the 1965 musical THE YEARLING. Barbra also

recorded 2 more songs from that musical I'm ALL SMILES and WHY DID I CHOOSE

YOU. Did you upload this from the stereo or mono Lp or from a 45. I notice a

slight variation in the phrasing of the song.

Music Execs are a**h*les that don't let the talent always pick their own material. After the '60's they pushed artists to record material THEY thought trendy to the times,irregardless of it's "quality" or lack there of ! Artists are left to make the very best of squeezing "performance" out of it. Music Execs & their massive egos & often lack of real "Taste" is a HUGE part of why the Music Scene TODAY stinks !!! Nothing beats HEART & Quality & those things are Human,Enduring & Eternal.
