On the same day that the Republicans were forced to dramatically cut back their convention activities, the Palin Meltdown unfolded with extraordinary speed. It's worth pondering the totality of what happened today, in a mere half day...

* The news that Palin once backed the Bridge to Nowhere went national.

* It emerged that Palin has links to the bizarro Alaska Independence Party, which harbors the goal of seceding from the union that McCain and Palin seek to lead.

* The news broke that as governor, Palin relied on an earmark system she now opposes. Taken along with the Bridge to Nowhere stuff, this threatens to undercut her reformist image, something that was key to her selection as McCain's Veep candidate.

* The news broke that Palin's 17-year-old daughter became pregnant out of wedlock at a time when the conservative base had finally started rallying behind McCain's candidacy.

* Barely moments after McCain advisers put out word that McCain had known of Bristol Palin's pregnancy, the Anchorage Daily News revealed that Palin's own spokesperson hadn't known about it only two days ago.

* A senior McCain adviser at the Republican convention was forced into the rather embarrassing position of arguing that McCain had known about the pregnancy "last week" -- without saying what day last week he knew about it.

* It came out that Republican lawyers are up in Alaska vetting Palin -- now, more than 72 hours after it was announced that she'd been picked.

* Palin lawyered up in relation to the trooper-gate probe in Alaska -- a move that ensures far more serious attention to the story from the major news orgs.

What else will come out today? After all, there are still six hours left until September 2nd...

What do ratings have to do with anything??? But, if you look at those ratings you'll see that the majority of Faux News viewers are white senior citizens. Faux News is a racist, fear mongering right-wing political machine that is constantly being caught in lies and hypocrisy.

  • @Petekiv ...You have issues don't you?

  • obama is illegal, homosexual (he loves to fellate men), illegal muslim porch monkey with a filthy, dirty pig of a wife. michelle wears size 14 shoes, she can't hide that. when she takes a crap, she has to lower her turds by hand. even break some in half to flush them.

  • @onemarilynfan

Just heard about Olbermann's move to Current TV yesterday. GREAT NEWS!!! Can't wait to watch it.

I like Current TV, they have some really good documentary programs.

  • @jessie74 Just heard the news, OLBERMANN is coming BACK! He will be on Current TV later this year,His own show, and maybe he can do for them what he did for MSNBC,he SAVED that channel, lets hope Current doesnt do what MSNBC did though, after he brought their ratings up, they SHIT all over him! Did you see,ALREADY O'Donnell has been forced to apologize for some of his comments,MSNBC is full of spineless bastards, did anyone tell BillO to apologize for the way he treated the prez on Monday?UGH!

  • God, if we only knew then what we know now...LOL! (or if McCain knew, or actually checked into this MORON)I truly believe he chose this chick only b/c Obama didnt chose Hilary Clinton, HOPING the idiots in America would just say, well Clinton has boobs,Palin has boobs, I wanted Hill, I'll vote for Palin instead,Im a dem BUT I used to really like McCain before this asinine choice!

  • @Suzaku000 In NYC I went to see a psychic at the recommendation of a friend. This fortuneteller used Tarot Cards to read my fortune. She laid the cards out in front of me and told me according to the meaning of the cards what was in my past, present, and future. Everything she said was perfectly accurate to the circumstances of my life at that time. I wasn't a Christian but I had to ask the question: Who shuffled the deck? This was no random stroke of luck! There are controlling forces. Choose!

  • @utopiandesign

Can you please point to some event outside of the Bible that proves Christianity is true? What's more, why play the faith game with me? If God wants me, a lifelong atheist, to become a Christian, all he has to do is show himself in the flesh. No megaphones, no burning bushes.

  • @Suzaku000 Either way, we're being played the fool in every camp whether of Rome's Christ-pretender religion, Islams satanic Allah religion, Buddhism, Hinduism, or Atheism. If you've never witnessed the supernatural before your eyes, you stand with tens of millions who have never cried to the Creator to prove His existence to you, let alone the government He lives by and also commanded our salvation (the Ten Commandments that rules the heavens) the only Law where we are safe in each others care.

  • @utopiandesign

Radiometric dating is used; not carbon dating.

  • @Suzaku000 If you want to believe the carbon dating "rubbish" that's your choice. Just keep in mind how a live mollusk was carbon dated to be 20,000 years old! The calibration curve of carbon was a choice. And sinful, self-serving men made that choice! And so, here we are today with the most confusing time estimations. And we are called to trust these men? Explore the supernatural, the psychics, the fortunetellers. Most are frauds but there ARE the true and powerful controlling forces beyond us.
