  • Bravo! Très belle interprétation!

  • @peterryom it is said that Bach's feet moved faster than most organists's hands. hopefully that gives you some indication of the tempo...

  • @Peterryom

what do you mean by "not much happening" ?

  • Marvellous music, and I think he plays the piece excellently. Bach once said "if you can't read the tempo out of the music, you shouldn't approach the music in the first place. Bach's indications never concern the tempo, solely the character of the piece (for instance vivace and grave). No two organists will agree on the tempo of a Bach piece, but in this particular one where (sorry!) not much happens except passage playing Böhmes fast tempo is a wise choice in my opinion.

  • This is perfect. This guy really knows his stuff. Is this the correct tempo? I mean is this the speed at which Bach would have played it? Just asking.

  • A very fine performance of one of The Master's most exultant organ works! I wish it included the fugue as well. It's interesting to not that this was Bach's home church, and the insignia on the pipes bears a close resemblance to Bach's own insignia, minus the crown.

  • great picture, sound too low!

  • Ein bissen zu schnell gerspielt. Die musik ist werklich shoen...und die frau is einer schoenheit
