I'm thinking of turning an old PowerMac G4 into a media server.

try putting an RCA EZ200 in a shirt pocket, or cargo shorts pocket--not the one you have. then use Picasa 3 with it.
save movies to your HD, then select such from the youtube site, or uploads can fail.
wigth 8gb card, go to RCA, search "small wonder ez200" for memory management info, etc. my ez200 is alli need, along with my nikon still (but i don't use the movie/audio with it.)

re the sawtooth comments..
The Sawtooth really is a much much better version. mostly because it has 3x the memory bandwidth vs a B&W G3 or a Yikesand a mobo that was actually built for the G4. the Yikes uses a mobo made for the G3..

Why wouldn't it go full-screen? Can't install the latest QuickTime which does it? If not, try VLC instead for full-screen awesomeness!
