This is my first attempt at using my movie editor! So please be nice...
It ends kinda abruptly because I haven't quite figured everything out yet. My next one should be a bit nicer now that I've kinda got the hang of it. Here's hoping anyway. : )

I was hoping to catch Skillet (which is one of my favorite bands ever!) at Celebrate Freedom 2008, but a big lightening storm came through right before they were supposed to go on. The rest of the bands and the fireworks show were canceled for the night. : ( It was very sad! Hopefully next year will have better weather. Last year it was at South Fork Ranch in the pooring rain, but there was no lightening so it wasn't a problem. It was the biggest mud pit I'd ever seen! I wish I'd had a camera for that one!

  • I went to the one at South Fork Ranch in 2007, I was covered from head to toe in mud. It was the best Celebrate Freedom I've ever been too.

  • i was there too! i almost lost a shoe. it was hilarious! fortunately a friend of mine was there to pull it out. it was so stuck i couldn't do it. : )

  • Sorry, I'm late on this one. Been busy, busy, busy. Quite nice camera work there and loved the sound of the storm. Nice to see you out and about with a camera. Always cool to see other people's part of the world.

  • we definately don't get a whole lot of rain here, but storm are pretty common place. at least we haven't had the trouble with drought that we usually do for the past year or so. weather fronts usually blow through pretty fast though. these are the plains so nothing to stop the wind really.
