@MrWayneWhite Since he was married, Rock Hudson must have been straight, too.

@ezywonder Ms. Minnie Pearl was never gay she was married to Henry Cannon but they had no children

Respond to this video... Funny how her face reminds me of Janis Joplin...anyone else see it?

@scooterdooter Ain't that the truth !
2 wonderful American talents. (Sad that neither one could be publicly gay.) Much love to them both !!

Funniest line is when Liberace says "Minnie Pearl, if I could be like you and Lord know that I've tried..."

@MrWayneWhite Nice to know that she's still appreciated. It saddens me that as time goes by, less people know of the awesome talent from this era. I even understand that the Liberace museum is closing its doors due to poor attendance. Thank you and others who still relate to these talented giants.

@vonDilly So true you are right and a lot of people don't know this so when i hear people call her name I tell them where to put their head. Was a well trained actress come from the high life and fit in with the poorest of persons who came to famous after she did. She never rubbed that riches in any of the singers face. She might of been the first rich person in country music as her family did have money and she married into wealth too. But she is an all around sweet person

I just love this!!!!!!!!

Loved Minnie Pearl such talent
People like this make me hope there actually is an afterlife. At least some of the folks there might be bearable...

What a woman! All of that "country gal gone to town to do a little tradin' an' flirtin'" act masked a really fine musician, with a powerful voice and comedic timing, who was a masterful business woman, who owned over 100 restaurants, and was a major player in real estate. She, and Liberace together- PRICELESS!
