Using a sphere I added an IPO curve to animate its scale, this needs to be linked in the game engine settings for that object otherwise it wont 'play' when you enter game mode. Then I surrounded it with boxes, these are all rigid bodies. When the game engine runs it exports out the movements as IPO curves and then your free to assign materials, add new meshes etc. Quite cool & fun. For the world environment I enabled some mist and added a blend in.
