When an Iraqi journalist threw his shoes at George W. Bush during a press conference in Baghdad, pundits laughed, made jokes and even praised the president's quick reflexes. But few actually paid attention to what the journalist said.

  • Too bad the shoe didn't break Bush's nose.

  • Why can't more "conservatives" be like Jack?

  • I blame all iraqi deaths, both under Saddam and under the U.S. invasion, on the United States. Who was it that put Saddam in power in Iraq? Was Saddam not aided by the U.S. ?

  • The shoe throwing incident has been a boon for the company that makes the brand of shoe thrown. It can't keep up with demand now. Seems like a lot of people want to wear the shoe that the US President dodged.

  • Very cute, SA: You've got a good sense of humor.

I used to be a Republican years ago, until I realized 'Republican' didn't fit; the shoe didn't fit: I figured the best I can do is be myself, moral, and vote accordingly: God bless.

    Is Bush a "size-10 shoe," "a size-10 shoe"?

  • he is one lucky towel head. He did that with the wrong person he would have got his ass kicked.

  • I hope that journalist goes free, he deserves a medal. I honestly dont care if Bush had Cheney and Rummy on his shoulder whispering in his ear, or if he is the mastermind behind the foreign misadventures of the last eight years, either way he is a bad president. He is also bad for his manhandling of the Constitutionthough not the first or last to do so. I dont care if someone has good intentions, it's the means that matters as well. If you break the law and moral/religious ethics you are bad.

  • I can't stand Alex Jones. The answer is no.

I believe that he is controlled opposition of some kind. It actually seems pretty obvious, but even if he is not, he leads his sheep to dead ends and demoralization. If he was a threat he would have been dealt with before you even heard of his name. We don't need these types of leaders - we need rational thinking people whose basis for morality is the law of God. If we seek His Kingdom, and honor His commands, tyranny can't stand. Christ is King.

  • Bush is not a bad guy. What is the problem is that he listens to the bad guys around him.

  • I don't know. I have never met him. Either way it still doesn't make any sense. 9/11 happened less than 8 months after his first inauguration. So was he planning on going down as about the worst from day one???

  • Joseph565112, does Bush appear to care if he goes down in history as the worst president? he doesn't care, lol

  • wortguy, you listen to a lot of alex jones, don't you?
