The original Woodstock was a phenomenon held at a farm in upper-state New York in 1969 that drew over 500,000 people and helped define the babyboomer generation.

  • @wvboarder2005 ive always wanted to go to allgood, a couple of friends of mine go every year. Maybe this summer!!

  • I was only 12 at the time of Woodstock, but my family was moving further upstate in New York while the festival was going on.

I remember the traffic that was going to the concert and the cars jamming the streets.

It was nothing but cars, people and music.

I wish I was old enough to go.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • It took him half a day to get there , it started Friday and ended around 11 am on Monday, that makes 5 days.

  • @oldman850 5 i thought it was 3 days long

  • if it wasnt for people like max yasgur and all the people behind that put it together woodstock would have never happened thank god it did it was just about the best five days of my life

  • All the reunions don't seem like Woodstock. They all didn't allow drugs or alcohol, which was why people enjoyed woodstock

  • I can dig that. <3

  • I just think everyone needs to experience something like woodstock at least once..Its not about drugs, or anarchy ect...Its about personal revelation.... I know it doesnt seem like it but ive had the most valuable religious and personal revelations in the middle of 30,000 people tents every direction and the one mind open and flowing. I DDONT CARE IF YOUR 5 or 85 IF ANY OF THIS MUSIC GIVES YOU CHILLS YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO XPERIENCE THIS AND GROW

  • Just got done watching this....Does the end make anyone else freaking cry every time? LOL when their talking about how it wasnt a movement it was a moment out of time....Cuz thats how I view Allgood...I know I started going 8 yrs ago to trip and stuff but as the years go on I kept going back for the amazing people, the mood, and the freedom... Ive been to a great many festivals that have just been ruined by bad people(with well under 15,000 ppl) but every Allgood theirs been 30,000+ No fights

  • great!
