Ah, Oregon, this sounds interesting! Some years ago I had been travelling around in Washington State (by car, no mc licence at that time) but i feel like one day I need to come back to the northwest - and rent a bike!
So you have the same problems with the snow there as we here: today I woke up and it was white AGAIN! Need to check job postings in Spain or Italy... :-(

Man, such a nice bike and so boring roads! Sorry to say that, but you really need to experience the Versys on small winding countryside roads, like the ones we have here outside of Stockholm! THERE the fun starts! :-)

Oh we have them, they are just up in the mountains which are still covered in snow.. not to mention COLD.

Yes, I almost always have my high beam on during the day. :) Makes for people seeing me better.
