When Nala (the cat?) put her claw into Wolfie's face it let him know he was getting on her nerves. WOLFIE GOT IT! He backed off and gave her space. I think this is when they become true friends. My GSD is just getting to the self-confident phase. He was nice with other dogs and cats (3-7months old) then got crazy. Now, at 16 month old, he can stand the competition with my affection to have a friend. I'm really a cat person, but t love my German Shepherd. Cat or dog, he needs a tough friend!
