  • @crlsfermin i know that, but you only learn bits and pieces of the other arts, not the entire art itself (thus the training is fragmented). btw, arnis or eskrima is a complete system in itself and it is one of the most deadly systems i studied (aside from silat) and it does cover all the ranges and makes use of all available weapons. there are also tricks you can do to deceive an opponent even in the most dangerous situations.

  • @theman91111 "Even now after 27 years of getting arm locked and choked by the entire Gracie family, I still feel like a student." - Paul Vunak.

  • Jiu jitsu is a sport. I spent 4 years in the Army. Army Combatives is a waste of time. Paul Vunak is living up to Bruce Lee's expectancy of being a student. He is mainly researching martial arts of all kinds and he just happen to take what is useful and disregard what is useless in Brazilian jiu jitsu. I've been in numerous street fights all my life. Never use jiu jitsu in a street fight!

  • Matt Larsen should be kicked out for teaching this to our troops. I think Paul Vunak should teach our troops the real martial arts.
