@babyfister5000 Sex is for having children. But it is not the most important thing in the world. I agree you and I will never understand each other. I have learned over the years that I need not judge so harshly. And there is NOTHING wrong with me - I am not controlled by sex unlike the sexual world. (THANK GOD). My point was that TOO MUCH emphasis is put on sex being so important in everything (it's NOT) - and that ALL people are sexual, because WE ARE NOT! We do exist.

I embraced asexuality as a very young person (!`~11 y/o); it was reaffirmed later in life when I discovered that so many black women have large, cavernous vaginas. .

Oh wow asexuality is a spectrum and you can be interested in sex to a huge variety of degrees... That helps explain a lot about me I think. Because I want to have sex... but... not that badly. I'm not dying to ever try masturbating or ever watch porn, but I'm an atheist and have no moral problems with either (unless the actors in the porn are being abused or something) or anything; I'm not afraid of them. I'm 22, a virgin, and I really want to fall in love but I think I may be SOMEWHAT asexual.

@natmil1 When an asexual person is in a romantic relationship with someone who is not asexual, they will usually have sex with that person in order to satisfy their needs. It's the same as any of the other compromises that people make in relationships.

@fredotron Hi I think there is a term for a person such as that who experiences romance and sexual attraction completely separately. You will probably find it on the website ''AVEN'' on google which stands for ''Asexual Visibility and Education Network'' There is an AVENwiki which has loads of different definitions including those not related closely to asexuality. However you may be a demiromantic or demisexual or you could be a Panromantic/pansexual. Hope I helped :)
