YT Reviews: Dax Flame

My review of Dax Flame.

Some notes about this review:

* I have to warn you that there are some people that won't like what I have to say about Dax in this video or how I word those thoughts. I don't care. If you don't like it, don't just post a "you suck" comment. You're better than that. Make your own video about me - I can use the exposure.

* This was originally about 2x as long as it is presented here. I might post some of what I consider the better parts I cut out in another video later on, but for now, enjoy this.


* On a personal note, while I was making this video, I was REALLY tempted to get a director's account, but decided it was better to cut it down instead.

I refuse to get a director's account purely on principle. I don't feel like I have anything to say that's worth more than 10 minutes of anybody's time (although this video does cut it close). And if you do take more than ten minutes to say what you're going to say, then you need to re-think it. Or get into politics. Director's accounts make bloggers lazy or needlessly wordy.

I will now get off my soapbox. Enjoy the video.

Addendum - OK, I was under the impression that director's accounts allowed you to post videos longer than 10 minutes. But thanks to early comments, I found out that I was wrong. This should tell you how much I've kept up with youtube while I was gone. However, I still feel that unless you're posting a movie or visual story longer than 10 minutes, you don't need a director's account.

i originally watched it because it was funny....then after watching all his videos from start to finish...he spills his heart and i felt like a total dick...he spills his heart and soul because his youtube fans are all he has.....in one of his more recent blogs within a year or so.....he suggested that if he didnt get over 10,000 views he'd kill himself,...quickly covered by a joke...but you can tell from his mannerisms that he wasnt kidding.....calm down dude...and start reporting on phillyd
