I guess Jesus isn't the principle of the church because he's not a principle--he's a person. He's the foundation of the church. But it's the mission of Jesus that is the organizing priniciple of the church.

if you have a problem with "this man" maybe you should talk to him via email or in public instead of slandering him on youtube. maybe he had hope for your 16 year old daughter but was reading the same vibe that we (as in everyone who reads your post) are all reading about you here, which is quick to judge and speak, yet slow to think and care. yeah, this is a public rebuke for your public slander. seriously lame.

ooo... you should read frost's and hirsch's new book, ReJesus... its all about that. Its about how we often lose our focus on Jesus and they talk about how Jesus is the center of mission and if He isn't then there is no point.

Jesus gave the great commission, after all, which is where we get the word mission in the first place. It's amazing how suspicious how people are.

scripture is not also listed as foundational...

Jesus is the way the truth and the life. You are right, he's not an organizing principle. He is a person, and is God. I find it interesting that missional is such a center rather than the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as well as scripture.
