Hello!

This is my 91' Ford Probe GT with F2T turbocharged engine. Full free flow 2.5" ehaust was made by polish tuning specialist, probably the best in country - BartH Exhaust. Blow off valve is from Properfect. Car is running 0.7 bar on stock maps. After ECU remap with ECU Master det II piggy-back I want to go for almost 1.2 bar of boost. Thats safe for stock internals and IHI turbo ... they should last for few months. Then I'll think about bigger turbo, and forged internals ... and stronger clutch, but stock one is holding tight for now. My new tires are Federal SS-595 - they are sticky, quiet and they look gr8 - very good choice if you're talking about hi performance rubber. Boost gauge is from Auto Gauge and it have been already installed with the new exhaust system. I will make a speedo video right afet I finish my ECU remap.

  • Do you have a rev limit on it?

  • @sykwiditinc ... yes - 6500rpm

  • may i know how to change to bov ......i have the some car ......what need to pay attention if change to bov!!?????

  • @velun9 ..you have to relocate the stock valve to get the best effect. So basically what you need to do is to install a straight pipe instead of stock BPV, close the hole in the intake pipe (the part that goes from the air filter to the turbocharger). Then you need to weld a flange to the upper charge pipe (one that goes from IC to the throttle body) and mount new BOV on it. You can use the vaccum from the old BPV. If you need more info/pictures let me know.

  • You mean that noisy silver thing with a small black hose attached to it from the top ?? That is BOV (blow off valve).

  • What is that white smoke?? Is that normal?

  • @Knezicdex ... It was very cold outside (40-50*F) when I was making this vid. Thats why this white smoke is coming out of the exhaust pipe (high EGT + cold outside air = steam/white smoke). Surely it wasn't smoking because of damaged head gasket (and cooling liquid burned in the combustion chamber). Few days ago I was changing the head for the ported one with Colt camshaft and I didn't notice any damage on the OEM gasket.

  • DObra nutka above and beyond

  • dobrze ze zostaje autko w klubie:)

  • @ 26 seconds, welding a muffler like that looks restrictive at best, why didnt you just weld on a straight piece of pipe intead of restricting the exit with two pipes?, I never saw that on a racing car, and never will.

Welding without gloves can really mess up your hands, it's not tough, it's stupid - you know skin cancer can come of this...
