Wow, you must be a true master, do you have any clips? I'm sure these "beginners" would appreciate you showing them how it's supposed to be done. Why do guys like you feel the need to insult other musicians? You're just part of the vast Conspiracy of Mediocrity, that's all.

AMAZING! Thank you for posting.

you rock for an excellent comment. musicians shouldn't insult other musicians, we have critics to do that for us.

Really, guys? REALLY?!
This is not music, for the love of god...
-
cool, now play it again

@johnnyasia You're just part of the vast Conspiracy of Mediocrity, that's all.
You have revealed my secret identity. Now you must DIE!!!

@dlogic22 har har har.
if you seriously think this sounds anything like your air conditioner you've never heard shit, because there's tons of music waaaaay more extreme and dissonant and dense than this. you might just want to take your soft little ears home and call it a day. go listen to some major scales or something and wrap yourself in a blanket.
-
Hmm now that you mention it, it does sound like my air conditioner a bit. :)

@dlogic22 starting at 6:40 in particular, there's an obvious chord progression and motivic structure happening. you just can't hear it because, i don't know, maybe you don't really know anything about music? if it sounds like noise to you, great, but please realize that you are making yourself sound ignorant.
music is the organization of sound. it's music. they are playing together. sorry to break it to you. if you want to hear actual 'noise', go listen to an air conditioner. big difference.

@Frisbieinstein you've "played a lot of free jazz" and you don't recognize veteran musicians like sabir mateen, joe mcphee, borah bergman and steve swell in this video? ha ha ha. man, you might not like this, but you come off looking like kind of a douche here. sorry to break it to you.
i'd love to hear your "free jazz". i'm sure it's really something else, frisbeinstein. you're probably a neglected legend.

Wow that piano player is sick, his technique is unreal. Whats his name?

The men you see playing in this video are the masters we will talk about years from now. The first pianist you see is Borah Bergman..the second is Matthew Shipp. Both still practice and play in the NYC area.
