OK EVERYBODY WHO IS KISS ASSING YO YO MA HERE
i am not a hater, but honestly. comparing him to GOD with the Oistrakh/Rostropovich rendition on youtube as well is ludicrous. yes his technique is unworldly but he cares WAY too much about an appearance of not even trying, when he could be putting so much emotion and coherence in his playing; ESPECIALly at 6:03

This was when I thought Yo Yo was god.
The same member came to Japan in late 1980s while Stern was so frail, missing notes in a few places when taking turns in the rows of arpeggio. Guess what Yo Yo did, he covered the violin part on his cello.
