  • i saw lonnie at glastonbury in 99 in the acoustic tent and let me tell you friends it was hammered and he blew the audience away

  • Lonnie what a great man you got me into

Skiffle when I was 12 I am now 65 and still love it RIP lonnie

  • Real nice clip. People who don't know, should know!.

  • Joe Strummer must have been hip to this stuff. I hear this influence all over Joe and his music.

  • FLIPPIN AMAZIN!!!!!!

  • I was in the Acoustic tent when Lonnie was on. Someone in the audience shouted, "My Old Man's A Dustman!" and Lonnie replied, "Thanks for sharing that with us mate!" Then he played Rock Island Line.

  • @Carthsting Your dead right I cant believe how young he looks.I remember him in the fifties when I was only 12 or 13. and he was great, all we had in uk apart from trad jazz. He started with Chris Barber as the banjo player.
