Tank looks great! I'm putting together a 60cm planted tank myself. How has the ADA co2 system performed and would you recommend it for this size tank? Thanks!
@hmonv589 Thanks for the compliment, and Great question. The ADA CO2 system works great and it's very easy to deploy. However, it's relatively expensive. My philosophy about a ADA tank is, it should be visually attractive when looking at it, but for anything else that is hidden in the cabinet or not usually shown to the public eyes, I really don't care. Lately, I'm now using a 5 LBS CO2 tank, with an external Electronic Solenoid/Regulator, which is 100 times cheaper but yields the same result.
@porchemasi Thanks. I notice that most (if not all) my videos taken recently are over exposed whenever there are bright green color plants in sight. Sorry about this. I'm not sure how I can make my Sony cam to work a bit better but I will try shooting with a Leica D-Lux 4 (video mode) next time. I think this is caused by the super bright green of the glossostima, messing up the camcorder's metering system.
In the next week or so, I plan on removing all the long stem plants. It looks messy now
