We finally started doing corn. I think it will be a while before we can do soybeans. The Drago cornhead is awesome I would recommend it to anyone!

I've got a 9450 coming with a 693 corn head. The combine is on 18.4x38 duals, it's a tight squeeze but it just fits behind the 6 row head.

@npk007 I'm pretty sure you know ROUNDUP total weedkiller,that is the best stuff to dry down the corn.Last year we sprayed corn around 100ha on 22-25 Aug when the moisture was around 35-38% and harvested on 10-12 Sept with 22-24% of moisture and the weather was still pretty warm,so we had a lot less drying costs.

@npk007 If u have problems with that high moisture%,why don't you use some kind of chemicals and spray the corn to dry it.Costs are not too high and you can bring down the moisture at least with 6-7%=less drying costs

is the worst you can do...because most beans are used for the production of oil...so if you dry it and loose oil your quality is shit! hope that covers it!!!

the% of humidity in the grain is wath were talking about.... or moisture... this year the wet and cold summer didnt allow the corn to mature properly...we have to extract the moiture all the way down to 15% to be able to store the corn(or else it gets moldy and gets wasted) soya beans are very absorbant...they can be at 12% and a little rain can bring them back up to 20%...so you have to wait for the sun to dry them...you cant dry soya bean because when you ry it you extract the oil...and that
