Oh and Democrats created the Confederacy oh and lets not forget the Missouri Compromise too that Democrats tried to push to spread slavery to all 50 states- speaking of the North, who were according to you 100% "anti slavery" engaged in the "Four days of Terror" against blacks in 1863.

Liberal Democrats are always ashamed of their parties origins or clueless of them. Then why did JFK and RFK vote against civil rights? And why did Nixon create Affirmative action with other black Republican leaders? So Nixon was secretly a democrat then? I only read History books btw..

@numba2bvi yeah Democrats were not at all a liberal party in those times. FDR changed the Democratic party economically and then Kennedy and LBJ turned the Democratic party into socially liberal, pro-civil rights party. The Northern pro-business Republicans took the conservative Democrats from the SOUTH, which is why blacks now vote Democrat 90% while social conservatives, the religious, and southern whites all vote Republican now. Read a book.

I agree, required Young Republican viewing- especially for younger ethnicities to show Democrats true origins and instincts. Give em hell "repoman256"! Democrat film making at its best. Pro segregation, pro lynching in South were all Democrats. Martin Luther King Jr was a Republican.
