Good job with a new piece, but a whole huge chunk is missing in the middle. Great to hear the banjo in this. Wish our group were being accompanied by a bluegrass band.

thats awesome how are all the songs coming alone they chose some really interesting pieces im interested in knowing where the cuts are going to be i remember my senior year my director was on point with what he felt the cuts were going to be helped me out alot

Amazing, only one video of this! I wasn't aware how new it was. I'm learning it for All-state, really an amazing piece.
Erm, I hate to say this, and it might be the sound quality, but the choir did not impress me at all.

You can get it from JW Pepper music company or Penders music, just to name two. Just ask for the all-state packet. there's a men's packet, a women's, and a complete.

do you know where to get the music cuz i'm trying out for all state next year and i'm new to this so i don't know where to get it. so can you help me out?

TMEA is doing gloria and sanctus next year i can't wait to hear them combine the choir and the bluegrass band

Thanks for including our name in your tags. I would like to clarify that this is NOT Monroe Crossing performing "The World Beloved - A Bluegrass Mass." Tagging us is understandable as we've traveled extensively performing this piece and are closely associated with it but, for the record, this isn't us.
It is exciting to see others tackling this challenging but very deserving work and it's fun for us to hear it in other hands.
Vocalessence and Monroe Crossing have released this work on CD.
Liz Waterbury is teh BEST! Also, Chico kicks ass with string players: Sid Lewis (banjo), Brit Smith (guitar) and Bob Kirkland (mandolin)
.......go Chico!
