Cannabis never killed a single person, but cannabis prohibition has killed thousands of people while imprisoning more than a quarter of the countries population. It has wasted billions of tax dollars, and forced cannabis into the hands of children. Regulation would take it off the streets, and create an economic boom generating millions of dollars.
