  • A brilliant military leader. He would probably already have exterminated the PKK terrorists. It is also amazing how the man kept his wits together and survived multiple international crisises, thereby preserving Turkey as it is. No regular guy can handle that much pressure!

    I truly respect Ataturks warrior spirit.

  • what can one say? he was a brilliant military man and a superb politician who led Turkey out of the decay of the Ottoman era.,..there was good sultans but in the end, the not so good were left...I was in Turkey for two years in the late 1950s and we did not enjoy cultural education in those days...the urgency was to setup facilities...
