I recommend this to all who truly seek the truth; as the Shaykh goes into the points of controversy of the Pseudo-Salafis' Aqida & refutes their beliefs with evidences.

"Not for (idle) sport did We create the heavens and the earth and all that is between!
If it had been Our wish to take (just) a pastime, We should surely have taken it from the things nearest to Us, if We would do (such a thing)!
Nay, We hurl the Truth against falsehood, and it knocks out its brain, and behold, falsehood doth perish! Ah! woe be to you for the (false) things ye ascribe (to Us)."
[al-Qur-aan 21:16-18]

The work of Imam al-Tahawi, al Bayan as Sunnah wa'l Jama'ah, is commonly known as Al-Aqida Al-Tahawiyya. It is the widely accepted Aqida work dealing with the beliefs of Ahl us Sunnah wa'l Jama'ah (Sunni Islam) stemming back over a period well exceeding a millennium. In this audio compilation, Shaykh Abul Hasan Hussain Ahmed (Hafidhahullah), explains the points in the text with relevant evidences from the Qur'an, Sunnah and the sayings of classical scholars; with an outline of some of the various deviant sects that arose and those who departed from Ahl us Sunnah wa'l Jama'ah in their claim to adhere to this very text especially in this age of mass confusion.

About the Shaykh:

Shaykh Abul Hasan Hussain Ahmed (Hafidhahullah)

Shaykh Abul Hasan Hussain Ahmed is a resident of the UK who has studied the Islamic Sciences for more than 5 years principally under the late Muhaddith and Hanafi Faqīh, Shaykh Abdal Haleem (d. 2004). He studied Arabic with the Egyptian linguist, Dr Muhammad Fathy. He also received various forms of classical warrants of authorisation known as Ijāza from more than 40 learned scholars of various Muslim lands, some of whom include the late Shafi' Muhaddith, Shaykh Hussain Usayran (d. 2005) of Beirut and the latter's pupil, the Muhaddith, Dr Yusuf al-Mar'ashali. From Syria: The Hanafi faqih and aqīda specialist, Shaykh Wahbi ibn Sulayman Ghawīji al-Albānī, Shaykh Adīb Kallās (d.2009), Shaykh Abdar Razzaq al-Halabi, Dr Ibrahīm al-Salkīni (Mufti of Halab), Shaykh Ahmed al-Habbāl (d. 2009) and Shaykh Muhammad Darwish al-Khatīb. The shortest chain he possesses back to al-Hafiz ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (d. 852 AH) is from a stupendously short 6 links (via Ijaza li ahl al-Asr) only, from the late Hanafi Shaykh, Kamil ibn Yasin al-Kalabadhi.

On the secular front he has qualified with a First Class Honours degree in Applied Chemistry with a subsequent Doctorate in the same field. He has also worked as a Researcher in the Chemical industry. In his spare time he compiles various Islamic articles for mainly internet distribution.
