Salvaging and towing a sunk boat in time lapse

This boat had the davit pad break and fall off the dock falling on the stern of this boat sinking it. We salvaged it and towed it to a local boat ramp where it was loaded to a trailer and taken to a mechanic to have the engine saved. Filmed with a gopro HD using timelapse and stitched together using virtualdub 1.9.7 a great piece of open source software.

The hole in the hill will be repaired 2nd, the motor needed to be preserved , the salt water would cause corrosion to many parts too fast.

Great video. Salvage company made it look so easy.

At frame 3:25 the salvage boat almost hits the tow boat.
