Regan bailed out the savings and loan mess. and illegally sold weapons to Iran.

Bush-1 coddled the oil companies, allowed mergers.

Clinton oversaw the dismantling of regulations on wall street.

Bush-2 lied us into the invasion of Iraq, one trillion dollars and counting.

Bush-2 and his tax cuts for millionaires, one trillion dollars.

Obama? Cleaning up the mess, but because he's a black, Democrat, he's wrong?

@Bullettube Obama got us into Libya by bypassing Congress, Got us further in debt then Bush 2 did in his 8 years of office, bailed out in the amount of 16 trillion dollars, 88% of that money went overseas, to Big Corporations/Big Banks. A Constitutional Republic has some similarities to democracy in that it uses democratic processes to elect representatives and pass new laws, etc. The critical difference lies in the fact that a Constitutional Republic has a Constitution that limits the powers of the government. It also spells out how the government is structured, creating checks on its power and balancing power between the different branches.

The Founders were extremely knowledgeable about the issue of democracy and feared a democracy as much as a monarchy. PT 1

For your info the republican party started as the republic after the founding fathers it is not part of the original constitution either.
