Himmler's favorite. He was definitely guilty of war crimes, both on eastern and western fronts.

Also I'd be interested in your sources?

That's from a book. From Volker Riess, Die Anfänge der Vernichtung “lebensunwerten Leben” in den Reichsgauen Danzig-Westpreussen und Wartheland 1939/40. Frankfurt am Main, 1995, p.307, citing Peiper testimony, 1970. However it is in a book so I doubt you would have looked and despite your love of all things German I doubt even less you could understand it.

Oh you sad boy, my sources sre many and varied you are the one who is History Channel fodder.
"On December 12-13, 1939, for instance, SS chief Heinrich Himmler visited Posen, probably in the company of RKPA deputy chief Werner, and was shown a model gassing at the experimental euthanasia facility in Fort VII, Posen. His adjutant Joachim Peiper recalled this in two accounts given in 1967 and 1970"

My information comes from Peiper, Hellspunk. He admitted in interviews that he witnessed the execution of the mentally ill. He stated in interviews he was with Himmler when they witnessed the Einsatzt operations. So the only turds I use as sources are Peiper and Himmler. You pretend Nazi's make me laugh you wouldn't know a book unless you were burning it.
Peiper is a hero and martyr

@zenutriotercero Joachim Peiper was not a bad man !! He was the consumate Officer and professional Soldier, the war crime which he was accused of ordering was the Malmedy massacre during the Ardennes offensive in 1944. This was an order he always denied that he had given!!. I believe him as he was not on the spot at the time but rather directing his Kamfgruppens campaign, I think the court tended to agree otherwise he would not have had his death sentence commuted to life and then released.
