It's been quite a while since I've seen this movie (like 7 years), so forgive me if my explanation doesn't make any sense.

Well from what I can remember, there is this dark Queen from some evil dreamland or something and she is drawn to this girl and wants her to become her daughter. So the evil Queen captures her and has her weird robot things put a spell on her, thus turning her goth and having her under her full control.

This scene was my absolute favourite! They filmed this beautifully, it feels like you can literally feel those robots touching you. :D
