I live in the country also. I spend my time learning ways to live sustainably, helping our fast disappearing countryside from being ruined. Maybe if you spent a bit more time watching dogs chase the skin of a dead animal you might find the time to do something constructive.
And you're right-living in the country is the best thing in the world.
