This stimulus bill is supposed to re energize the economy. How does the bill helps small business, the backbone of the economy? Food stamps? Will money for sexual transmitted diseases help create jobs in the private sector? Will the $800 a year given back to the citizens who will have to pay for this train wreck of a bill offer any more than token relief? READ THE BILL SENATOR! I'm a life long democrat and ashamed that my party in two months exceeded 8 years of Republican over spending.

No, I don't have any stock. I make less than 25K. All of our government waste pisses me off. You miss the point, I think. This A-hole signed the largest spending bill in history, devaluing our dollar, without having even reading it! There was also vast sums of monies for putting a guard rail around a lake in Oklahoma that hasn't held water since it was built. The call it the Great Boondoggle. Bush got us into this mess? Economy was doing pretty good till the Dems regained the House and Senate. The Republicans needed their clock cleaned for spending like liberals. I am not sure they get it still? But hocking our future for some feel good spending programs? It is like being depressed and going out and buying a new boat. It's fun the first couple weekends till the payment book comes and you realize you spent the money on life jackets, beer and gas. China's our repo man. Wake Up!

I feel your pain! I'm still trying to figure out when it became the duty of the American taxpayer to fund abortions in other countries, and why does ACORN need $50 million for Harleys? And exactly what constitutional backing does ACORN have anyway? And how is buying them Harleys going to help people in FT Meyers? Sounds like BS to me!
