Me too, although realistically it might be the year after; was there a Festival on the Niger at the beginning of February this year - there was in 2006, and it was very tempting! Also a friend was in Mali this year at the time of the Festival au Desert and although he didnt get to it, he did go to some Tuareg muysic/cultural event in Gao around the same time.
