Legend of Zelda - Dragon Roost Island Orchestra

An orchestral cover of Dragon Roost Island from Zelda The Wind Waker. I'd never paid much attention to the Zelda music until recently. I wish I had gotten into it much earlier as there's so many good pieces of music hidden behind 8bit blips and blops.

This version might be a little too epic and bombastic to fit the theme and it loses the windy-feel of the original, but that's just how it turned out.

I don't know how you do it, but many of your orchestrations just sound so triumphant and victorious, yet they can also have the right mood of calm and peace to them. I swear if you were ever to compose your own soundtrack to a videogame, it would turn out amazing, and it would probably be a valuable one at that. Amazing job on this, as always, Blake!

I can really see a new Zelda coming out and incorporating bits and pieces from your masterpieces, so for a few moments we would say "OH GOD THERE'S _____ SONG!" but it would be new and beautiful.
