  • Btw guys, dont critisise on technique, he gets the job done alright.. Thats all that matters. Survival this and survival that. I dont survive in the forest, i thrive and i enjoy it, thats why i am going out there ;) if i was to survive i would go to war instead.

  • and the saw, extra dry cloathing, and a sami knife just in case i had to do some serious delimbing of trees. The saw is something i cannot stress the importance of, i dont think i would manage to get back home if i spent all my calories in that way you demonstrate. But of course its great fun whacking loose on something every now and then ;) more of a summer thing i guess. Good demo of brute force though!!

  • I was out today -15c and snow up to my hips. I am as always using my bacho 9" laplander saw. I did not make that much noise in the forrest, and i was not exhausting my self getting that log in two. Same thickness as the one you where attacking. I got some good dead wood for the fire and using my bk2 only to split wood. I even built the frame of a lean to shelter ;) in about 4 hours and 2 hours of walking, i was just carrying my 60L bag containing a firesteel, 25m of cordage, 2l of water, my bk2

  • I used to chop wood like that, but then I took an arrow to the knee

  • Too bad you don't seem to know the technique. See even knife that expansive will not make you into a wilderness survival expert.

  • INFI steel FTW

  • improve your cutting technique..... you are using a lot of energy...

  • ....it cuts! good one. looked like hard work but handled it quick.

    nice one bro

  • That's a freaking axe

  • BEAST !! Nice to see it getting used and not sitting in a draw.

    Good work.
