Playing tag with a ruffed grouse.

This ruffed grouse has recently been hanging around the house for the last week. It seems to have taken a shine to our son Aiden, who loves to chase the grouse, and then turn and run away and let the grouse chase him. They play this game for hours.

Cute...I wish the birds were that curious here.I think ALL children need to have interaction with animals.Wild animals are more unpredictable than domestic ones;so, time spent with wild animals sometimes develops into a special relationship with nature...I will bet this little man will have a fascination and a love for life and the living....Like me.

You start feeding it and it will never go away. I had a freind that had a pet chuckar in his house and it was tame as a pet dog.
