This is an old hymn of worship performed by Selah off of their "Greatest Hymns" CD. When I was a very small girl at a family picnic at a lake, I called to my parents on shore that I was swimming, when really I was just walking on my hands in the shallow water. Just then two boys on a floating mat rolled over the top of me pushing me under the water. I panicked as I thought I would drown. But, oh so quickly, I felt my father's hand reach down and pull me sputtering out of the water. I need Jesus just as I needed my father that day. Without Him all I'm really doing is walking on my hands in the water. None of us can swim without Jesus. We all need a lifeguard.

The LORD is good.. Sometimes I cant' believe how bad I've been, how sinful how wrong, how unjust.. Yet God is always good. Sometimes he causes unbelievable pain and seems to have left me in the lurch.. Sometimes he hits me with a hurricane of trials and tribulations and it hurts real bad.. But is not our God in control? He's never too late, never too early, but just on time. Thank God for this blessed assurance:)
