Remember one of the two levels in Sonic Adventure that was part of the Egg Carrier? This is it!

I just got "Skydeck a Go! Go!", the theme for the level, downloaded, and the update will have it. For now, enjoy the Flying Battery.

Anyway, I want to capture the fact that the area had you having to get to the other side of the ship quickly. The first part (the one here) is vertical, and there will be more platforms after the checkpoint. The second one (where the castle is) will be based off the final non-Rush room in "The Library", in which Mario must go past a large gap in the ship in order to make it to the other side (a reference to how the second part of Sky Deck is falling apart and you must make it across as it collapses. I'll get that done by the end of the week.

  • I think having Convetant here is a GOOD idea.After all,unless Mario and company are the only ones that see the warps,there's gonna be someone else running around somewhere else.Hell,I wouldn't mind Convvetant and Doom enemies mixing.

  • That's a thing that I'm looking at. I mean, the plot of Mushroom Kingdom Fusion is that there is a Dimensional Rip. And since Mario enemies are available in non-Mario worlds (as JudgeSpear stated when he introduced Tower of Babel), I think the other way could work.

  • Nice Sonic style level. MKF is starting to fill in a bit more.

    Judgespear or me have a heck of a task ahead: coding Sonic style loops to run though. Groannnn.... the regular slopes don't even work 100% yet :P

    In related new I just today I've created Sonic style monitor powerup boxes. Once this stage is added to the offical source they should replace the "?" blocks.

  • Tell me about it. The regular slopes I'm using for this are messed up, and I'm holding off Stardust Speedway for now because of it.

    Also, because of a technical error, I'm unable to use the one file that has Labyrinth Zone and Sky Deck. I did send it to JS, and I think he'll fix it. I'm still working on other levels, but they'll be in another file.

  • I would be very pleased if you could keep this music in instead of Sky Deck's music. It doesn't even compare to the awesomeness of Flying Battery! I really like the level layout and palette. It looks really fun!

    I agree with the others who request Ice Cap, Green Hill, and Death Egg (complete with flipping gravity, making Mario run upside down). Those would all be amazing.

  • Alright! By popular demand, the Flying Battery Zone: Act II theme will remain. Also, Green Hill Zone and the Death Egg are going to be in the game. I won't code the upside-down stuff, but it should be in. I also plan on a 3-tier boss fight and a hidden rematch with Metal Sonic. I may plan on using Ice Cap.

  • After watching some of these new level videos, I thought of something. In the Nintendo realm you could add a level from the earthbound games, like Giygas (from mother 2) being in the background sending those shockwaves ("you cannot grasp the true form of giygas' attack") out every ten seconds and there are some areas where you won't get affected by them. It should be a big open room. You could also add an ultimate Chimera in (I don't know giygas and the chimera are my favorite enemies in there)

  • I'd suggest removing the scrolling background its really screwing the game up it seems

  • Why are there Halo enemies in Sonic Level? They seem out of place.

    I mean not many people dislike it, and it's so damn catchy.

  • Flying Battery is full of win. But that's my opinion.
