Okay, I think it's a little bit much for you to be called an evil person because you admire Columbus...but the man encouraged slave trade and introduced diseases (if unintentionally) which killed countless natives. It's one thing to admire his feats, but it's completely another to IGNORE the other side of his actions.

Today is Columbus day, and I had to listen to people praise him... it was painful. Glad there are so many people out there who aren't blind and can think for themselves. Columbus was a very bad person.
