Ridden by Nick Skelton (GBR) The world famous Oldenburger stallion, Arko III (born 1994) - bred in Germany by Mr Schuett - won the FEI Best Show Jumping Horse & Rider Combination Award in 2004 and 2005, placed 10th 2004 Olympics (Athens), won Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Estoril, won 2008 Spruce Meadows Grand Prix, Calgary, Canada (one of the richest in show jumping), numerous other winnings.

Arko was retired at Olympia Horse Show (London) in December 2008 and will then stand at stud.

Arko III is around 168cm (16.2hh) - main thing is he was a 'Great Jumper' and has the Genes to produce Jumpers.

Thanks for that - I rate Nick Skelton as one of the best showjumpers of all time!! A "Winner" against the clock, just unlucky in the 1986 World Championship 'only' a bronze medal on Apollo and team silver.
