  • God rest ye merry, gentlemen,

    Let nothing you dismay

    Remember Christ our Saviour

    Was born on Christmas Day

    To save us all from Satan's power

    When we were gone astray.

    O tidings of comfort and joy,

    comfort and joy;

    O tidings of comfort and joy!

  • fabtastic version, thank you

  • omg, I love this version of this song, especially the background tune, this is fantastic! :)

  • I heard this while working today. Until that point, I was seriously getting pissed at hearing the same Christmas songs in 5 different versions. I love Arabic music and this song made my night.

  • there is a lot of Arabic tunes not Turkish tunes , I think a couple of her band members are Arabic. "Before McKennitt composes any music, she engages in considerable research on a specific subject which then forms the general concept of the album.The album The Mask and Mirror was preceded by research in Spain where she engaged in studying Galicia, a Celtic section of Spain, along with its abundant Arabic roots.
