I laugh when white people tell others to get the hell of their land, because they forget that their fathers and their forefathers are German, British, French, Irish, and so and so forth.

They took it from the tribes of america, the Navajo, the Hopis and their ancestors.

Those tribes, those 'savages, monkeys, trash' are the rightful owners.

this is why i love poetry so much. regardless right or wrong, theyre your feelings. & they should be expressed no matter WHAT or WHO is to blame. people say her anger is wrongfully placed, regardless how YOU feel, theyre still HER opinions & beliefs. & if you listen closely, shes talking about a soldier she possibly had something with, wether friends or something more, not just some random soldier she saw

"I watched you walking around in camouflage; all the green army suits and heavy boots leaving prints in the Earth as if you owned it." I'm tired of discrimination: alien this, illegal that. We are all brothers and sisters born to the same mother, this beautiful, green Earth we take for granted. You can not own Earth; take a map and draw an invisible line on our mother, then call it yours. Borders can not contain us. They do not separate us. Your set mentality does...I know it's not her point.

one tear just fell from my eye . this is so amazing & true . I am anti- war, pro-peace . I don't salute the military at all because they destroy lives whether they realize it or not, and don't think -- "what if I were in their shoes?" I could never kill a child so full of innocence , or a woman needed to raise her children , or a man -- the provider of his home. War destroys & ruins lives.
