Two people have been killed in a helicopter crash in central London. The accident happened at the height of rush hour on Wednesday. The helicopter was on a commercial flight from Redhill in Surrey, just south of the capital.

It was on its way to Elstree in north London but was diverted to Battersea heliport because of poor weather, just south of the River Thames in central London.

Al Jazeera's Charlie Angela reports from London.
