Thanks for documenting this bittersweet occasion, proving the old adage; Whatever goes up must come down. For those lucky souls who played handball and racquetball on those four excellent Elks courts over the last 45 years or so ~ there is surely a certain sadness in observing this demolition derby.
Same goes for those who spent many a happy hour tippling and shmoozing at the mahogany-paneled Elks bar.
We who have done both can't wait to see a sublime new Elks lodge arise from the rubble.
